You can rehydrate them by soaking them in water (some people will boil them). Then, you can use them the same way as you'd use regular apples (applesauce, stewed apples, for use in recipes, etc.). I wouldn't normally suggest a pie here on Spark People, but Christmas is coming up and I hear that rehydrated apples make good apple pies.

Thank you! Sheryl those are great ideas. I could do an overnight oatmeal with the apples or a breakfast .quinoa. I also like the idea of a muffin. If there are any left over I'll let the dog try some. I have one dog (and a cat) who will eat most anything. Thanks again for the ideas!
