When this happens to me I still eat. Esp is I get hungry. But I try to eat something healthy.

I go by how hungry I am, and what I feel like eating later in the day.

If I'm still really hungry, then I assume that my body needs some extra calories for some reason, so I eat a normal dinner and even my usual snacks if I'm still hungry for them.

If I'm not very hungry, then I might just nibble on a balance of veggies / protein / nuts until I'm satisfied.

In my world, my body signals trump the "calorie range" in importance every time, so I just don't worry about it when I have the occasional day where I'm hungry enough to exceed the ranges.

Start weight: 240 lbs
Surgeon says Maintenance: 160 lbs (reached Jan. 23, 2014)
Revised Maintenance Weight: 155 lbs (reached March 7, 2014)
Revised again: 150 lbs (reached May 27, 2014)

This has happened to me. I wait till I get hungry again, maybe 8pm and have one slice of cheese with a couple of organic seed crackers. It satisfies me and then I could sleep three hours later.

Very large, low calorie salad with lean fish or chicken breast.

What I do in this situation (especially if I've met my nutrient requirements) is just eat something very light - probably a salad with a SMALL amount of protein included, very low cal stuff, to keep calories at a minimum since I'm already over.

I can't NOT eat because then I get overly hungry, which can result in disaster!!!

I ran out of my daily caloric intake after a late lunch. I am in check with all the nutrient breakdown. So now what do I eat or do when I get hungry later tonight? I have some ideas but would love to read what others have done. Thanks!
