Realizing that I forgot my portioned salad dressing (low cal, low fat) and DID NOT go to the cafe to get one. They have no low cal, low fat. For me, the taste of the salad was good enough.

I desperately wanted to buy some vanilla ice cream
and I even told myself it would be great with some fresh fruit.
{ about rationalizing bad behavior...}
What is wrong with me....I even JUST started a weight loss challenge.
I talked myself out of it...and stuck with the fresh fruit.
It's amazing what we do to sabotage ourselves

I saw a message board about not resisting. I started thinking about what I did resist.

My son & his friends left a box of small cinnamon buns on the counter. I could have fit one into my calorie range today. I just want to lose some weight more than I wanted to put that in my body. I guess my motivation is running high right now. I did consider putting the box into his room so that I wouldn't keep passing by it. I might do that tomorrow.
I consider it a victory.
