Just saw the Meryl Streep/Tommy Lee Jones movie "Hope Springs" a couple of weeks ago at the theatre........It was very sweet and funny and especially of interest to me since it was filmed at familiar places here in my home state of Connecticut........

I just watched Lord of the Rings, Twin Towers and Return of the King. I'd say 8 out of 10 for both. I like them, but I rate other movies higher.

We just watched "Fearless" with Jet Li....mostly in subtitles, but it was amazing! For movie in a theatre, the last one was The Amazing Spiderman and I didn't like it. I felt that they changed up all the characters and then retold the story....what was the point??? I can't wait to go and see The Expendables II :)

I watched JUST GO WITH IT last night, with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. I usually don't like Adam Sandler stuff, but I liked this!! However, it was very very predictable. But even when I knew where it was going, I loved it. It was fun!

Captain America - 5 stars out of 5

Thor - 5 out of 5

In both, there is a reasonable development of the "hero," and they are well-done, and good for family viewing.

Surprisingly, I watched 3 movies in 2 days. The reason was because my husband just got his wisdom teeth removed.. We saw
Hunger Games 7 out of 10 - I didn't read the book, but since this is going to be a series of movies I wasn't too impressed
Mirror, Mirror- 7 out of 10- I really like Julia Roberts in this movie. It was just odd.
Big Miracle-8 out of 10 - even though I fell asleep, I really loved the story, a whale family, indigenous peoples traditions, and the effect of the Western world.

My husband and I watched The Hunger Games last night. I just recently read the book. My husband was confused about a few things in the movie, and I had to fill him in based on what was in the book. I think the movie left out a lot of important details. It was still pretty good though, but I probably wouldn't have liked it as much if I hadn't read the book.

I just saw the Hungar Games and, not to be cliche, but the book really was much, much better. In fact, if I hadn't read the book (to fill in the numerous blanks!), it would've really been an "empty" movie. Not too impressed.

I watched Time Traveler's Wife on ABC Family this weekend. I liked it, but it made me cry! I really want to read the book now.

A house of our own with Kathy Bates. A movie set in the 50's and just a sweet story of a single mom struggling to make it and the people who help along the way. I give it a 9 out of 10.

Farewell My Queen. I fell asleep during it in the theater. Don't know if I was just tired or also bored. I love historical movies like this usually, but this was too much focus on one character. The movie is about Bastille Day and some days after.

The family gave it a "5" out of 5.
