Also, I've started writing down any compliments I'm given. I felt a bit low earlier so I just looked at the list and 50% felt better, 50% determined to work hard to feel as beautiful as people seem to think I am.

I thought of a cool trick today. I was so tempted by a cookie at work that I thought of giving in to it. So, instead, I logged it in my calories to see how it would totally screw my numbers for today and let it stay there. When I got home, deleting that cookie felt great! It was sort of like I deleted it directly from my thighs!

A few things actually... I've just been feeling really crappy about myself lately and I don't want to just wallow and binge my sorrows away and give up on working out and just let myself go. Because I know that it won't help, it will just get me on a vicious cycle. So I know that I've got to be consistent if I'm going to feel good about myself again. Another thing that's been motivating me is that I really want to look good on my graduation day (June 16th, by the way!). I know that I'll be wearing a super baggy gown, but I want to feel good underneath it! And I want a new outfit to wear underneath. Another motivating factor is that I will be trying on wedding dresses in a couple of weeks. I know that I have MONTHS to lose weight for my wedding, but I want to be exciting about trying on dresses. As of right now... I'm kind of dreading it... So that's what been keeping me going so far. I hope I stay on track!

What motivated me today was a Blog that I had read on Sparkpeople yesterday. The person stated "even if you don't reach all of your goals today try to do something. Spending time doing something even for five minutes is better than doing nothing all day."

I take this statement to heart! I love Sparkpeople! emoticon

I've been out for almost 2 weeks as I went out of town on a camping trip for Memorial Day weekend...6 days total. I still have lost .5 lbs and I'm so excited I didn't gain anything back! Just thinking of my husband's bday party where I have to wear a flapper dress now:) 4 weeks to go, and another 5 lbs would be great!!!! Motivated!:)

Well, its been 2 months sense i lost weight. And going out with my friends and drinking is starting to get frustrating!! Which is a good thing!! The wagon has been dragging me for 2 months!! Im happy that i didnt jump off the wagon completely im just waiting to get back on all the way!! And today it hit me!!

My hubby stayed up late and made me a vegetarian Shepherd's Pie (my recipe folder), so I could separate it and take it for lunches to the office.

He did all the dishes, so it was a surprise when I opened the fridge for breakfast.

What motivates me? I have someone who, while he may eat things that are not my choice, supports me whole-heartedly, and tells me often.

What motivates me- I AM losing weight and I fill better when I am trying to get healthier.
Health is a major issue. I do not have major health issues but I do use a CPAP which sometimes causes sleep issues. Doctor says, while being obese doesn not necessarily cause sleep apnea, it will improved with weight loss.

What motivates me is taking a good look at my elderly family members. Asking yourself: Do I want to have multiple health issues and be on dozen of medications later in life? The answer for me is NO. That's what motivates me.

What motivated me today was having 3 people at Zumba tell me that my belly is smaller. Since the scale isn't moving, that was really nice to hear!

Every day I try to find one thing, one little thing, that will help me continue with my goals the next day.

Today, I have to admit, it's that the work and exercise and moving around is paying off visibly for the first time. Being sedentary for as long as I was, my feet were swelling like crazy. Today, after I took my shoes off... NO SWELLING. I feel so good!
