Yesterday I was unpacking some boxes from my days in Angola. Most of the shipment was moldy when we received it, a couple years ago. So some of the good things just got packed away again to be dealt with later. Yesterday I found a couple pairs of shorts. The shorts were too small when I took them to Angola. Had a idea that I would lose weight there. Just the opposite, I gained about 30 pounds. So anyway, yesterday when I found them, I tried them on. How about that, they fit! Been since before 2004 that I was able to wear them. And they have an elasticized waist so I should be able to wear them even if I lose another 20 pounds! Makes me feel good.

We were food shopping and my hubby came up from behind me and he put his arms right around me, there were years he couldn't do that and for some reason it just felt extra special today and like he could get them around me so easily
