Chihuahua named Freeway as we found her in the middle of a very busy road. She had heart worms, bleeding and had to be spade. We have had her 4 years now and she is a member of our family.

A Welsh Corgi named The Mighty Thor, a huge white hunting mutt named Baldur (who is hilariously submissive to the midget Corgi), a little tabby cat named Delilah, and a ferret named Edison. My other ferret, Uno, died last month. :(

We bought Thor from an Amish family in Pennsylvania when he was a puppy. The rest are rescues.

I have a terrier named Missy whose picture is on my SparkPage and a Pom named Silky. She was a stray that I adopted. I have had Missy for several years and she has helped me through a lot including being there when my husband passed away 6 years ago. Both are great company for me when I'm home alone. Silky won't sit still long enough to have her picture taken.

We have Zoey an 8 year old beagle, collie mix that we rescued when she was 4 months old. She is a wonderful, entertaining, loveable dog that I sometimes call a circus dog because she is so energetic. Every morning she litterally hugs me. I think she is grateful that we rescued her.

Although we had to put our beloved dog Sammy down in August - he will forever be in our hearts and we miss him so much. He was a great dog to have - so smart, playful, friendly and so adorable!!!! I love my Sammy

A solid white cat with blue eyes. He was cross-eyed as a kitten and the runt of the litter. No longer cross-eyed and weighs 15 pounds but not obese; the vet says he's just stocky like an athlete. His name is Merlin.

I have a black and white English Bull Terrier (think Target dog) named Killian. We bought him from a breeder in Poland while my husband was stationed in Germany. He is the goofiest, loudest, most energetic dog I have ever seen. Plus, he's stubborn! Anyone with a bullie can understand that!

Golden Retriever, schnauzer mix pup, several barn cats. I don't give out info as personal as names, sorry. The golden belongs to my son in college, the schnauzer mix pup is my husband's. We got him in Joplin, MO, a yard give-a-way. He was born 2 days after the horrific Joplin Tornado so my sons call him 'nado, or Jack, my husband calls him PupPup, the girls we got him from called him Skruffles and I call him Baby Dog. He doesn't seem confused - as long as you give him lots of pets he'll come:)

Golden Retriever (Obie) and a lab mix (Jack)

both are unofficial rescues. Obie was bought as a pup by somebody who didn't realize he'd be a big boy (that's him sitting in my lap). We drove to Louisville (from GA) to pick him up. Jack was abandoned at a school during the foreclosure sweep in our area. We took Obie over to meet him, they played well together, and Jack came home with us.

until recently, we had a pit mix that was neglected by somebody in our neighborhood. They kept her tied to a tree. We started bringing her over to play with our boys, and they got along great. On Halloween, she spent the night with us. She pretty much stayed with us all the time until last Friday. My husband came home and she was gone. He asked the neighbors, and they said they'd decided to take her back. They have her inside now. I sure do miss her!

We have 2 adopted tabby kittens. They're 5 months old and mama was a pregnant stray adopted by my SIL. We adopted the 2 female kittens. One is black and her name is Bella. The other is gray with darker gray stripes named Sookie. (Named after the vampire books because we got them around Halloween, as well as I have 2 teens in the home who are into the vampire craze)
