Right now ........ all my clothes are too tight to wear and that's awful!
But overall, I want to improve my health and get my BP down.
Doing nothing is easy.... that's why so many people do it.

My family............I feel as though over the years I have retreated into a cocoon.......I am so embarrassed that I have "done" this to myself and am tired of not living. My son was too small to know me at a "normal" weight. So, all he know is the mom that I am now......I want to be more active for him and do things with him that I find myself not doing because I am ashamed of the person that I have become.......My son does not have a weight problem and I do not want him to, so I also hope by me shedding this baggage, I will be setting a better example for him, regarding eating and exercising.

My desire to be healthier and reach my weight loss goals. It doesn't hurt that my clothes feel lose and others comment on how good I look.
If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results.

My main motivation is getting healthier and be more physically active. I am preparing to enter a career that is very physically active and I will need to be healthy and fit to do it .
When I don't feel motivated, I remember how confident I felt when I was thinner.

Everybody has different things that keep them going. You'll have to find what's best for you.
for me, it's the health and the ability to do things around the house, and walk the dog that keeps me going. As I feel better, I continue to make changes in my menu and exercise routine (able to add more). New clothing sizes are great, but not my primary motivation, I guess.

I want to improve my health and also the way I look. Most of all I want to stop abusing my body by constant overeating and gain freedom from this bad habit, to feel more in control.
