a few different things keep me motivated. I like logging in here and getting my points. I like watching the videos and reading the encouraging statements posted here. I like the way I feel after I complete a good workout. I like tracking my food and seeing success in keeping my calories below my limit. As my mom always told me Success breeds more success.

Educating myself about the foods I eat has really helped me. I am now a member of the "Clean Eating" group.
My journey has been slow as I am not on "a diet" I am changing my life from the inside out. It has taken me 6 months to lose 20 pounds and that is ok because I am learning healthy habits that will sustain me.
I visit Spark Coach everyday which also keeps me focused and motivated and encourages me to write down my thoughts and feelings.

I remember every day I wake up that I have control of this. I'm not a victim, I'm not helpless, I make mistakes but I turn right around and keep going. I'm doing this on my schedule and its ok that I'm slow. I'm making progress and that's what matters. :)

How good I feel after a sweaty workout, an awareness of an increasing stamina, fitting into clothes I haven't been able to wear for a long time. The money I'm saving by bringing my lunch to work.
