I adore soup for breakfast, especially in the winter, when I find hearty chili or black bean soup is SO perfect to get me going in the morning.
Living in Asia for several years got me used to eating rice for breakfast. I like to make a big batch of a healthy fried rice (brown rice, little to no oil) full of eggs and veggies to have on hand for the week.

I always say the best thing about being an adult is having whatever you want for breakfast!
It is not uncommon for me to have leftovers from dinner for breakfast. Things like meatloaf, steak and potatoes, chili, veggie soup...
I don't really care for the "usual" breakfasts- Cereal, oatmeal, eggs, etc. I've taken to eating spinach salads, quinoa salads, tacos, and spaghetti for breakfast most days and I am finding myself actually looking forward to breakfast now, vs not wanting to eat yucky oatmeal again (I actually do like oatmeal, but as a snack or even dinner rather than for breakfast).
Do you have an unusual breakfast that you make? Looking for ideas.
