Like others, so many. I primarily want to get healthier and get off my medications. But, on the vain side, I hate looking at the flab in the mirror - it disgusts me - and I want to look better for my husband. I also want to wear "cute" clothes again and be able to buy clothes in "normal" stores when I'm out with friends.

I want to live to be 100! I used to joke about this all the time, but why not, right? Also, I found out that I have very high cholesterol. I'm almost positive that it's a hereditary cause and not lifestyle, but changing my lifestyle certainly can't hurt!

I shaped up for myself and nobody else. I wanted to be healthy. Those commercials where the wives would say, "I lost weight and now I'm my husband's trophy wife!" did and still do, make me gag. I was not successful until I did it for ME and nobody else. I tried losing for weddings, other events, other people, etc...But at the end of the day, it usually only works if you do it for yourself. I definitely got it down.

Mine was really silly. I had (well, still have) a new boyfriend who is very thin and 5'6". I didn't want people to look at us and be like "why is that guy with that fat girl" LOL The guys before him were over 6' and 200+lb ex-football player types so it didn't bother me as much w/ them.
For me, there's so many!: To set a healthy example for my daughter, to fit into my "skinny jeans", to be able to complete a sprint triathlon, and to relieve some of my stress and anxiety (that might be the main reason!) What is yours?
