I am finding I feel better after working out.
but also I have found that I HAVE to workout if I want to lose.

When I started to lose the weight, I did it just for myself right away; I didn't do it for anyone else which helped. But as the weight came off and I started to love my body, I knew it came from working out and actually SEEING my body change. And I also love the different ways it changes via different forms of exercise.

My base reason for exercising is maintaining a healthy body. The side of effect of this is amazing friendships! We run races together with the faster people cheering the slower people at the finish. We gather to celebrate life events like birthdays, babies, and across county moves.
The more regularly I work out the more downright terrific I feel. I went a bit far a couple of months ago and sustained a groin muscle pull.. Now my family is urging me not to work so hard as I get back up to par. They are presently couch potatoes and were a bit annoyed that I often had to fit in a little bit of a workout as midnight approached. Rude though it may be my endorphins were coursing and I felt good every day. I am beginning to feel that way again. I am doing about 3/4 of my previous average but I love the challenge. They can't beat me. They may just have to join me.
I'm running some half marathons with friends so I'm working on speed and endurance. And I found I love running.

My motivation is wanting to lead a healthy lifestyle and how I feel once I've worked out. Sure there are days when I don't feel like doing anything, but then I tell myself you're going to feel worse if you don't. I'm human like everybody else, but exercising provides me with so many benefits that I can't imagine my life without it. I would love to hear about everyone else so feel free to post.
