Gourmet popcorn!! I got 3 popcorn tins for christmas and almost all of the savory flavors were gone within days. I still have a good chunk of the caramel corn left over. I keep it out to remind me that if I save it, it can be a yummy treat someday when I feel like I deserve it!

Hey thanks to all who reply! Im seeing a lot of chips and baked goods . For some reason I have a hard time controling salty stuff in my house more so than sweet.
Also, if I offended anyone by how I said this question let me just explain that I use food as a drug. I am an emotional eater as are many of us. I turn to food like someone would turn to a drug to get a momentary escape from life. It never lasts long but does give me a momentary high . Just wanted to explain.

There's too many to list! My cravings change daily. Today I'm craving pizza...and..I will be having pizza tonight for dinner because it's my splurge day and it has been months since I've had any. I'm taking the pizza over to my step mom's for dinner and I will leave the leftovers at her house.
I think it used to be toffee and chocolate, and pizza. You order a pizza ... the whole thing is gone, even if you've decided it should last a couple meals.
In the last year I've gotten around to measuring just about everything, and with portion control even nuts and sweets are pretty safe. Just a square or two of good chocolate, just an ounce of cocoa-covered almonds. Though sugar-coated things (e.g. nuts) and then salt-covered things are more dangerous than plain ... I *want* more and more.
But I know what it is, and it isn't a thing in the house -- it's buffets. Especially a 'Chinese buffet' ...  harder to do 'portions,'  hard to tell what the ingredients really are,  tempting to get your 'money's worth' ... but afterward (a) your stomach feels bloated, (b) you realize the food wasn't really that good even if it tasted great when you put it in your mouth, and (c) you've eaten enough for a day or two ...

I ain't sure I like the way you asked this question but I knew without reading what you were asking for. My vice isn't a food it is a type of food. The kind you sit down and munch on like popcorn, carrots, etc...

My favorite cheese & cheesy things: Kojak cheese and my aunt's cheese ring (which I considered making for Thxgiving & Xmas but didn't, thank goodness) and I'm sure there are some other cheesy stuffs that would totally be crack for me, too
Pastries of any kind and potato chips! That does not mean that I don't buy them sometimes. But I can't have then in the house just for no reason. If I make a pastry or buy chips it is because there are people who are coming over who will eat them and I am not left with the temptation staring me in the face. On these occasions I will have a small portion, but if I buy these thing for myself, I have no self control.
I think my challenge will come when I make soft tacos for my kids during my Daniel Fast. (I'm on day two. I am doing 21 days.) I LOVE Amerimexicanish stuff. Just...the flavors work SO well together. What I will do, though, is make some vegetarian pinto beans, roast some peppers and onions, and make some brown rice, so I can still partake, but be very careful not to go over. I am skipping the cheese and sour cream and that's two of my favorite parts. (I've been substituting sour cream with non-fat Greek yogurt made just from skim milk and yogurt cultures.) So...Yeah. Amerimexicanish food is my kryptonite. I'm recovering from refined flour and sugar addiction, too.
I think we all have foods that sing for us. I would love to pin it down, but I think I.m an equal opportunity binger. Italian, is pizza, I love pizza it has all the food groups right? I also like grilled cheese with LOTS of cheese and copious amounts of butter! Ice cream is also a no-no, I eat it by the bowl fulls. Individual packages of baked goods do not work for me either, unless I only have one in the house, LOL. Another bad food for me is steak-ums, I fry those babies up with lots of olive oil(healthy right), green peppers(healthy again), onions and then top with an abundant amount of cheese. Add that to a fat itailian roll........did I mention bread? LoveLoveLove bread, I think that it may be my biggest weakness, anything taste good on bread. I guess that might be it, but I'm sure I could go on and on. I think I may need a 12 step program or maybe even a few more steps would be helpfull. Thank goodness for forums such as these, thank you everyone for the motivation to continue! Writing this down makes me see how food is such a crutch, I know I am a food addict, so I try to have whole foods in my house, so I cut down on additives, preservatives and GMO's. I truly believe that these add ons help decrease the bodies ability to fuel itself, thus making you need more fuel. Food should be energy and fun and I want to get there again.

while I have a tendency to use bread as a "go to" item if I don't plan for it - there is nothing in the house "off limits" because if hubby wants it - he can go for it.
I try to treat some things as "his" so I play mental gymnastics to avoid their consumption

What I mean by this is, what food do you not allow in your house because you cannot control the amount you eat of it? They were talking about this last night on a weight loss special that some foods literally cause a similar reaction in people as crack cocaine would. They did not list specific foods though. Curious as to what would be yalls?
For me: I agree with one of the successful weight loss contestants on the special. He doesn ot allow Pringles in his house. Neither would I. I call these air chips. I mine as well lick the air because as yummy as these are...I believe they are impossible to get full off of!
cookies, cake, heavy sweets, anything that is not in single serving packages I am going to try to greatly limit.
