For teens a healthy rate of weight loss is no more than an average of 1 pound per week. For adults it is a maximum of 2 pounds per week. So in 10 weeks, about 10 pounds is a safe amount of weight for you to lose, but weight loss is not always consistent, so you could see a little higher or lower than that by that time.

I want to loose as much weight as I possibly can this summer- but I don't want to do any damage to my body, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a healthy, but fairly large amount of weight loss that I could loose in about 10 weeks. My original goal was half my goal weight- 35lbs. But I though about it and that sounded like it might be too much. I want to transform myself before I go back to school for a stressful, junior year. Any advice or comments would be awesome! :)
