Skinny Taste is my go-to for healthy recipes and that's where I'm looking for Thanksgiving. I'm planning to make:

-Mini Pecan Phyllo Tarts

-Skinny Pumpkin Pie

-Creamy Cauliflower Purée

My family is not so great at making healthy recipes so I try to make a few that I can enjoy with very little guilt ha.

Healthy dish? Why on earth would I want to ruin a perfectly good holiday by eating healthy? It's only one day this month and one day next month. If I eat healthily the rest of the time I can eat a small portion of everything I want to eat one day a month.

skipping the holidays this year. just moved to a new state and can't get time off to go back to where family lives. Will hole up in the apartment and eat normal. Maybe take myself out to a movie.

Roast turkey and collared greens(fresh-not from a can) made with smoked turkey instead of smoked pork. We have celery, carrots, and grape tomatoes to nosh on, and I'm making pumpkin soup for lunch. Squash, sweet potatoes)

(Not so healthy-buttery garlic and herb mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, pies, white rolls.)

How about a nice, filling but healthy stew!

unless we're invited somewhere, we have no family arriving, so with the two of us - we can have whatever we want - and it doesn't have to be unhealthy

I realize that's no help to you in your menu planning; but it's truthful

So, what healthy dish are you making for Thanksgiving or any other Holiday parties/dinners?

If it's a SparkRecipe let us know so we can try it!

I am bringing a Raw fresh veggie tray and a big salad.
