WALKING UP THE STAIRS AT WORK =)

I walk up from the basement to the 9th floor quite regularly.. still gets me every time!

Vigorous activity...I have a slow resting heart rate...normally in the 40's, and it takes a lot to get it up to the "performance" activity level...

I'm gonna try running and walking in intervals. I usually do twenty minutes, but I can hike it up to thirty eventually. Fridays will be running day for starters. Then Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

I did an 8 minute interval video yesterday. That sure did it! I also like to run intervals on a treadmill, hit the hills on a bike, or run outside. :)

I use the spark people video fat blaster for twenty minutes. Then I do a mild workout in the afternoon.

If I put on my workout clothes, perhaps I'll get hyped. If I listen to some fabulous music, another way to get hyped. If I just go ahead and turn on that video and start, at least I have somewhere to begin with.
