Depending on my mood, I have a weakness for sweet snacks and salty snacks (sometimes both if it's been a really rough day). During the work day, I bring healthy food with me. If I bring something like crackers (I have a thing for cheez-its) I actually count out a serving size (or less) to put in my little tupperware. Sometimes I'm tempted to go buy a yummier-sounding snack, but I'm also trying to watch my budget carefully so there's extra incentive not to go out and buy a candy bar or chips or something.

Chocolate covered raisins. If I buy a bag bigger than the size you get at the movies, it's all over. I'm really proud of myself because I saw a 1.5lb bag at Target and walked away empty handed!
I'm a carb addict, too. I don't have the sweet tooth that bothers many people... for me, it's the bready things. Bakeries drive me absolutely insane. I simply can't have that stuff in my house.
I do buy one variety of bread, one loaf per month, and I portion those slices out to 4 or 6 in a little zipper bag... then I freeze them. Otherwise, I'd go through the whole loaf in a couple days.
Starchy veggies are a temptation to me, too... but I don't have as great a problem with those as I have with the "real breads."

Potato chips evil little things that they are ....
Also sweets, I have quite the sweet tooth! :/
It's not so easy to keep the foods out of the house, my hubby and son also enjoy these foods. Oh and I live with my in laws. My mother in law is a potato chip addict lol and my father in law loves all things sweet. Nope, won't be keeping it out of the house.
Each day I do the best I can to make smart food choices, some days are easier than others

For me its carbs. You name it I love it. I don't keep sweets in my house which is easy for because I don't have children. I don't deprive myself when I want something but usually out of sigh out of mind works for me.

Since I joined SP I learned that one of the greatest 'secrets' to weight loss is portion-control and moderation. However, we all go through our ups & down regarding emotional state, physical exercise and food choices. And I guess, everyone 'suffers' from some particular food addiction that is a stumbling stone on this journey and is more or less very difficult to resist. For me it is cheese. And not the yellow American cheese that comes in so many varieties and colors, but the naturally aged white Mediterranean cheese that is about 300cal per 3oz and loaded with sodium. Sometimes I think that if I can just stop eating this cheese things would be so easier. It is MY stumbling stone. What is yours?
