Have not been able to get to the gym in about 4 years, now ... [yeah, I miss the swimming pool] ... so at home I've got yoga routines, dance routines, video downloads, and the audiophile's excellent sound quality of having a compact disc player instead of just mp3s ...
plus little light weights, yoga props, resistance tubing and the like ...

I never go to the gym, In the morning I do 30 minutes of cardio which is usually a youtube video, I like Fitness Blenders high intensity interval training videos. After this I do 30 minutes on my gazelle. I then do 2 reps of 30 sit-ups, some butt and thigh toning, and I use my resistence bands to stretch my legs.
You can get just as good of a workout at home as you can at the gym. They are both equally good, its just more convenient for me to exercise at home.

Most of my program is outside the gym, but if I can't get outside, fitness dvds (strength training, cycling intervals on the stationary trainer, Wii EA Sports Active/Nickelodeon Fit w/ the kiddos, whatever ti takes!)

My favorite right now is Cathe Friedrich. She is so challenging and tells you what to do if you need to make adjustments for fitness levels. She uses hand weights, dyna bands, step, and barbells. I rotate videos. I like Zumba too and the Firm.

I never go to the gym. I'm a very advanced exerciser mixing running, fitness DVDs, strength training at home and biking! Believe me you don't need the gym if you have the motivation and will to workout. Good luck!

If you can't afford to invest in weights, consider doing several compound bodyweight exercises splashed with cardio bursts.
It depends. I live where we have winter so if its nice out I love to get outside and run with my dog in the neighborhood or local trail. Also have equip at home weights, resistance bands, and several DVDs which my newest buy is Turbofire. I think variety really helps with not getting bored. But my fav is the gym, I really enjoy getting away and having me time:)

Run. If you don't have hand weights make a body weight circuit with pushups, squats, lunges, wall squats, planks, jumping jacks, jump rope, etc. Do as many as you can of each, then repeat 2 more times.

Have several videos that I love. Or go for a walk in good weather.
Depends on my mood. I have a number of Jillian Michaels videos. I like them a lot, but I go phases where I do them quite a bit and then nothing. I also have a treadmill which is my main exercise, but if I'm struggling (tired, unmotivated), I'll just put on some good music and groove around the house. Gets the heart rate up and usually gives me a boost.

What are the best ideas for when you can't get to the gym? I have a rower machine and a couple resistance bands. I've also tried a couple boot camp videos on youtube. My question is, what is the best workout you can get at home?
