I read for 1/2 hour or so before I start my day. I get my first water and make a cup of coffee or tea then back bed with liquid and read.

I've read that eating just one apple a day can wake you up just as much as 1 cup of coffee. The benefits of cutting that one cup will also be helpful to your health as well. Try it out, it really works!

I brush my teeth to help me wake up, but I'm thinking about changing that. Someone was just telling me that the program he's in they are told to eat breakfast first (to break your fast) and then eat every two hours. I don't know that I can do that, but I am going to try.

After waking up, I do some stretching exercises in bed, especially for my heel and feet, then get up and cook husband's breakfast, and get my shower in. Coffee mug at hand!

I get up, change into my workout gear, stumble to my living room to do my workout, pack my lunch/make breakfast; shower and get ready to go to work

I get up, dress, throw my prepacked breakfast/lunch in a bag and head to work. There, I eat breakfast, Spark and begin my day. On the weekends, I do breakfast first and then may workout early, though I usually prefer to do so in the afternoon. But if I have a full day scheduled, I will do it earlier.

Breakfast is usually baked oatmeal and fruit or like today, Greek yogurt, high protein cereal and a side of fruit.

After I make a visit to the bathroom, I get dressed and head out for a morning walk or run.

What are some things that you do to help start your day in the morning?

Do you make a protein shake or something?
Do you go for a early morning jog/walk?

I am looking for ideas to help me get through the day. Because when i wake up and i start my day its just kind of plain. I don't do any exercises ( which is not good i know), i dont think i eat a good breakfast either.

I wanna know maybe you make a shake in the morning to help wake you up or give you energy thru out the day? Do you run or walk before you go to work in the morning?

What do you do to help start your day?
