Going to walk with son, daughter-in-law, grandsons, hubby, & other friends in a 5K Walk for Babies in celebration of my little grandson who born premature almost 3 yrs. ago. What a fabulous way to spend a Mother's Day weekend.

Going to my parent's house for the weekend. Dad will probably throw something on the grill Saturday as I have to drive back home Sunday afternoon. I'll probably make her something sweet to take with me for her along with her gifts.
Since I'm on a very strict diet, I do not want to eat out. My husband and kids will be making dinner at home. We're having grilled steak, grilled shrimp and spinach sauteed in olive oil and garlic.

I wish I could visit my mom, but she died a few years ago. I am not a mom myself so it will be a regular Sunday for me.

The kids want to go out, so i think we will go to Whole Foods - many have a Mother's day Brunch and it's really affordable. I already know i want the strawberry salad, mango with raspberry coulis and a wedge of quiche. Not bad for 9 dollars! :D

Making the 5-1/2 hour journey to see my mom in Pittsburgh. I haven't seen my folks since Thanksgiving so it will be nice to visit. She'll be more than spoiled as I am taking home the Christmas and Birthday presents I bought her, along with a small mothers day gift - and I plan to ask her if she'd like to cook brunch with me the morning of before we head back to Cincinnati. Should be a good weekend.
