Not sure yet, but my son and his g/f will be home, so just quiet time and I'm sure hubby will cook something on the grill for supper.

We have a full day planned. Brunch with my mother in law & rest of the family, then we'll head over to my mom's and we'll do dinner out more than likely.

All I know is that I am not cooking or cleaning a thing that day emoticon emoticon

My fiance's family is visiting from across the country - we're spending the weekend with them and making a big brunch!

Spending the day with Mom, we don't go anywhere though. We both hate getting out into the Mother's Day crowds. We will go out to dinner on a different night to celebrate.

We ordered her some flowers in a keepsake teapot. And added a teddy bear, to the arrangement. I ordered her a cake. She will get those on Saturday.

On Sunday, we will go to church and then we have reservations at a fancy Gastro Pub.

I am still looking for the perfect little something to give her. Possibly jewelry that means something.

Going to my parent's house for the weekend. Dad will probably throw something on the grill Saturday as I have to drive back home Sunday afternoon. I'll probably make her something sweet to take with me for her along with her gifts.

Since I'm on a very strict diet, I do not want to eat out. My husband and kids will be making dinner at home. We're having grilled steak, grilled shrimp and spinach sauteed in olive oil and garlic.

The kids want to go out, so i think we will go to Whole Foods - many have a Mother's day Brunch and it's really affordable. I already know i want the strawberry salad, mango with raspberry coulis and a wedge of quiche. Not bad for 9 dollars! :D

I am hoping to just stay home and relax. My step children will stop over, even though I am not their birth mother, and that's nice, but we don't make a big deal of it.

Making the 5-1/2 hour journey to see my mom in Pittsburgh. I haven't seen my folks since Thanksgiving so it will be nice to visit. She'll be more than spoiled as I am taking home the Christmas and Birthday presents I bought her, along with a small mothers day gift - and I plan to ask her if she'd like to cook brunch with me the morning of before we head back to Cincinnati. Should be a good weekend. emoticon

Mother's Day is the same day as my Daughter's Birthday, so I guess I will stop off at her place and give her her birthday present, on my way up to my 92yr old mother's place.

I am planning on treating my Mom to a nice meal in a nice restaurant tmrw as it will be crowded everywhere on the actual day this Sunday.

I gotta start saving again after tmrw. Gosh! I spent so much this week! Things are getting so expensive now!
