I am actually celebrating the opportunity to start a new job! Very excited and anxious about the fact that is a career change and I haven't done this before but is also so good to challenge yourself and try new things :) It's definitely a scary feeling in a way, but can't wait to learn new things. I am very blessed and very thankful for this chance!!

That the scale told me I lost 3 lbs. I was the heaviest of my life for the past 3 days. I hope it is all the way down from here.

I am celebrating the fact that I have tracked (fairly honestly;-) for two days....I know - don't laugh, but that's a big deal for me...AND that I have actually LEARNED already where my trouble spots are!

I went to the store yesterday in curiosity and tried on the current pair of jeans I own but in a smaller size...not only did I fit well into them, but I didn't have to undo them to put them on!!!!! I am down about a size and a half in jeans!!!!! emoticon

I'm celebrating that I have worked out a minimum of 5 days a week for 5 weeks now. I was thrilled when I realized it yesterday. I have been feeling much better about myself and just plain feeling better. And I notice that I WANT to get my workouts in this week instead of o I better get it done or I won't get it. It is a great feeling.

I am celebrating that I have exercised 3 to 4 days a week since New Years. I have knee surgery in April and I have 18 exercises to do to be ready. I never thought I could keep it up. I try to get up and start them each day.

I am celebrating being 24 hours without Facebook. I was making excuses why I couldn't exercise... yet I spent tons of time of Facebook... time for a break from that until I'm back on weight loss track! :D

Yay for everyone!

Today I am celebrating getting over a serious exercise fatigue issue. The past week has been tough on the training front. But I stuck with it and figured out that my body needs different fuel. That and I'm not a spring chicken anymore!!

I also dropped another pound this week and comfortably fit in a full size smaller than I did just a couple of weeks ago. I have to keep reminding myself that success is not really judged by the scale but also by how clothes fit and how I feel.

The resolve to control my schedule and not let "life" take it over. Week after week it seems as though I have too many activities - social and appts. - that distract me from projects I would rather be doing at home. I am an artisit and a quilter and need quiet alone time to accomplish things.

I always feel that I will let my friends down if I don't participate in everything.

I made a resolution that 1 week per month I would not make any appts. or engage in social activities - well I did play bridge yesterday AM - but other than that it's all about me this week.

I cannot say Woo Hoo - loud enough - I have had time to focus on my goals and I feel like a million bucks!!!!!

Wish I had resolved to do this sooner!

There's a lot to celebrate!

This weekend I continued my half marathon training by running 8.5 miles on Saturday. I ran the second 5K in a race series I joined and cut a whole minute and and 10 seconds off of my time for a 29 minute finish. I ended up in the top 25% of close to 600 hundred people. I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Best wishes to everyone in pursuing their goals this week emoticon !

This week was a big challenge for me.

Today I am celebrating the following:
Getting all of my training runs and exercise in and preparing for my long run tomorrow and 5k on Sunday.

The scaled didn't budge all week but today I'm showing a small loss!

Fitting back into my "skinny" jeans.

What are you celebrating today?? emoticon
