I did a google search for gluten free banana bread and the SP recipe was in the results. Made it with a few variations: I didn't have enough ripe banana so I added some cranberry sauce and about 1 TBS of yogurt to fulfill the wet ingredient amount. Cut back on the sugar a little because the cranberry sauce has sugar. It was fabulous...almost TOO good. It's the first 'goodie' I've had since I started SP 3 weeks ago and presented me with a bit of a challenge but I limited myself to less than a serving and only on days when I did extra exercise. I love the fact that the recipes are broken down for a reasonably sized portion and all the nutritional info is included.

Cioppino. I don't think the SparkPeople recipe was really any different (other than spicing and type of seafood) than any other. Some of them were even LESS healthy than mine.

Last night I fixed Honey Garlic Pork Chops. They were good but I didn't get to marinate them for long and I think they would have been more flavorful if I could have left them in it longer. The recipe couldn't have been simplier - honey, soy sauce and minced garlic. I added a splash of red wine vinegar and some red pepper flakes to spice it up some. Recipe said to grill them but I suck at grilling so I baked them at 375. Tender and yummy.

I make the crock pot marinara chicken every once in awhile, because it makes a lot and it's easy to freeze. Yesterday I made Coach Nicole's guacamole and it was REALLY good!

I love this recipe! I feel full afterwards, but not sick or heavy...it's a very fresh and light-feeling dinner. :) I would highly suggest trying it!

I make a spark recipe almost every day. I loved the single serve brownie recipe listed under snacks. Yesterday I made a chicken pot pie recipe that we liked. Also a chicken BBQ breakfast burrito that my husband and I both loved for brunch. I love to cook and always used an online recipe source and liked trying new things but they were high in calories so when I started here I knew I would have to try these recipes.
