my smartphone - i can't access personal email at work so this is extremely helpful being that it's also impossible to make personal calls due to zero privacy.

A couple of nights ago the power was out when I went to bed. All of a sudden I realized that I wouldn't be able to make my coffee in the morning if it didn't come back on and I panicked. Looks like my coffeepot is my most important gadget!

I'm still old school, I still have a cell with an antenna. My daughter teases me all the time & gets embarrassed when I answer it in public. I do love my laptop.

My cell phone, once you have one you can't be without one. I am not rude with itby using it constantly, but I love the fact that my husband and kids can get a hold of me 24/7.

MY I-PHONE

I used a creative brand mp3 player for years and loved it. I did finally break down and get an ipod though. I can now check my email and stuff if I am somewhere that has wi-fi. It is the only thing that I have set up to check my work email. Its nice having a calender, a place to put notes, I can download books from my local library, play games, look up directions, etc. It would be nice to have the iphone so I could always have the net connection, but I have no desire to pay that much a month for phone service when I barely use the phone and I am not away from a wi-fi connection that much.

It sounds like every cell company offers some version of that kind of phone with some being better than the iphone and cost less. Biggest difference is in the amount of apps you can choose from, but I would think that you could find what you need for almost anything.

My iPhone. I got mine Feb 2011 and have no clue how I lived before I go it. On trips now I rarely have to open my laptop because I can do almost everything I need to from my phone. I do taxes for a living and can and have done returns right on my phone while sitting at a customers house. Gotta love that! iPads are cool, but I passed on getting one, or any other tablet, when I found out you cant directly print from one... well, not that easily anyway. I am still occasionally tempted to buy one, just to play with it :)

I am still trying to update either my old phone to the 20th century or get something like an Ipad. I like the app stuff but I am way behind the times. I am computer lit but just have fallen behind.

Thanks.
