I love spin class. My gym periodically offers a 6 week course. It's twice a week for 45 minutes and starts at 5:30 AM. FUN.

I also love a good boot camp class. And the instructor at my gym is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, my current schedule doesn't allow my attendance.

I HATE group exercise. I LOVE spin class because they turn out the lights so you can pretend those other people aren't there. I should post a picture of Grumpy Cat with this reply emoticon

I really enjoy Zumba. I do 4 classes a week at Shapes and 1 class a week at the Y. My insurance covers the Y and Shapes is the best bargain for gyms. All this exercise is really doing the trick and of course I have to watch what I eat but get to eat more with all the exercise. My doc says I am his healthiest patient. I also have dvds that I use sometimes. SparkPeople has helped me for the last 6 years as I record diet and exercise and get inspired by others. The tools are great!

Yoga and Zumba. You really need a good yoga instructor for your first few months of doing yoga, because s/he can adjust your poses and make sure that you have the correct postures. Dance classes you don't really need the personal attention, but it is fun to work out in a group and have the group energy.

LOVE body pump or any class that is like it (high rep low weight, weight lifting) also like a well done beach boot camp!

Zumba is my favorite, but if I ever join a gym I want to take a spinning class, Pilates, and yoga. I took a few yoga classes that I loved, but the class was a 35 minute drive to and from which didn't sit well for my gas budget...

I belong to a gym and want to try a little bit of everything class wise, but I know I need to pace myself so I don't die! HA!

In trying to decide which classes to try first, I was just curious as to what your favorites were!
