My fave is the Apple Jack Smoothie by happyherbivore . com

If you ever had Applejacks cereal as a kid, this tastes crazily like it.

My version


1 cup vegan milk ( I use Dream blend coconut and almond milk )
1 whole bananas (refrigerated)
1 whole date (optional)
whole apple, diced (I use applesauce, it's easier to blend)
tsp cinnamon
1 cup spinach, fresh (I use baby spinach)

8 oz plain nonfat kefir
1/2 scoop chocolate casein protein powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
One cup frozen strawberries or blueberries
Two cups fresh spinach or kale
1 tsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)

I love this postworkout. Cold and refreshing, and the high fiber content makes it stick with me for a while. Some of the smoothie recipes that have sugary fruits or added juice just make me hungrier later so I stick with just berries for sweetness.

I've never really made a green smoothie. But a friend of mine gave me one and let me taste it and I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe I'll try making one.

2 cups spinach or kale
2 oz silken tofu
1 frozen banana
1/2 c frozen pineapple
2 tbsp flax seeds

Hmm...thats a hard the moment, 2 cups Spinach, hand full of grapes, 1/2 banana, water, tbsp, chia seeds. Thats usually my lunch one. Breakfast, mixed berries, almond milk, chia seeds. mmmmm

Mine is this:

2 cups of spinach (sometimes 1/4 is kale)
1 banana
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 fruit (usually a mango, 1/2 cup berries or whatever I have)
2 tbsp hemp seeds

That's it. emoticon
