Julia Child's The Way to Cook. I love all her cookbooks. I've been using them for years.

I also like Jacques Pepin's Fast Food My Way. It's a great cookbook with quick and easy recipes.

Julia Child and Jacques Pepin are two (of many) great chefs who advocate the SLOW cooking movement. Slow cooking is all about eating high quality foods that nourish our bodies. To me, slow cooking = clean eating.
