I love Spinning at my gym...the class is actually 45 minutes to an hour, but with the great music and constant "terrain" change it flies by! Plus I'm drenched at the end, which means I gotta have burned a lot of calories!
Oh man, if I only have 30 minutes and want to make a workout count, it's gotta be the 30 Day Shred or, if I'm at the gym, I love rowing machines. I normally have a high calorie burn, plus I love pushing myself to beat my time, and it's a great workout for my back/shoulders

definitely elliptical or other cardio. you can hit it as hard as you want with resistance and get the most of your time!
I like the Jackie Warner Personal Training DVD and there are 3 diff 15 minute workouts that just fly by! The 15 min total body is great. Also the ChaLEAN extreme workouts are about 30 minutes each and they too are awesome.

Elliptical makes me want to claw my eyes out, I get so bored! I like interval on the treadmill or spinning bike (hard intensity). Turbo Kick (TurboJam) or circuit training with jumprope intervals if I'm feeling creative--plyometric strength/cardio moves with 1 minute jumproping in between sets
Elliptical or erg. I'm really enjoying the elliptical at my gym! And I used to row, so I love to be on the erg (even though I hated it back then :P)

I've been doing a lot of 30-45 minute workouts on the elliptical because we have one at home and its easier then going to the gym. I may have to change up that routine soon if I start to plateau. I like it though because I can listen to my music while doing it and just zone out. I also throw in 3 of those 10 minute cardio videos with coach nicole once in a while to spice things up. I'm curious about some of the dvds people have been mentioning on this thread. How do you track your calories burned with the 30 day shred video?
Hiking! The snow is keeping me out of the state parks lately, but I'll be back as soon as it warms up! I feel so blessed out here in Denver, there are so many trails right outside my office and on my way home. I can pound out 3 miles (and the day's frustrations) while listening to a book on my iPod and enjoying the scenery. I'm in a much better mood when I get home, when I do!

My personal trainer has me do Incline intervals on the treadmill. 1 minute of incline, 1 minute of walking at a regular pace (3.5 miles an hour or more), for a total of 30-45 minutes! I also do speed intervals (same as above, except jogging for a minute, then walking for a minute). I really enjoy the speed intervals! I do change things up a bit, too, because I get bored easily. But those are just a couple of easy things that you can do on the treadmill at the gym!
You may want to consider interval training! There is a great website that shows a ton of videos for interval training you can do in 30 min or less at your own home.. the girl is buff, and I'll warn you, they are challenging, but you can alter them to suit you! Go to www.bodyrock.tv.com. Also, if you youtube interval training, they have many other ideas for you that you can do in or out of the gym with someone or by yourself that will challenge you!

Hey! I have a basic routine that I do when I go to the gym everyday, but since I don't want to get bored, I have been trying to change it up with classes that my gym offers. I think that it is helping and I have actually found myself looking forward to the classes. They are fun and I know I am working hard. I have actually used some of the videos I have had at my house for a while, they are all yoga. And, today I got a Zumba video in the mail from a spark member who wasn't able to use it. I find that videos are fun b/c you are alone and you can do them at your own time. It's hard for me to always go to the classes I would like to go to b/c I have a young son. So, I would say that my favorite 30 minute exercise is different all the time b/c I am trying to change it up every week!
I'm really trying to stick to a routine of going to the gym on my lunch, but I'm not always sure what to do when I get there. I do a 45 minute class sometimes, but otherwise I stick to the elliptical...
