As I told my nurse yesterday, it is not time that is stopping me or lack of motivation. I have plenty of that. It is just me. I stop myself. So she challenged me to workout when I got home before i did anything else. I succeeded. And as she had promised I felt that I really accomplished something.
I had told her that I made every excuse under the sun. She then asked me what would stop me from exercising when I got home-- I simply told her Death.

Schedule for right knee replacement surgery on August 19. Until then can't do any weight bearing exercises on my knee due to pain. Am working on upper body to maintain strength which will help with recovery.

rheumatoid arthritis. A lot of exercises I just can't do, even if I'm feeling great, because the next day I will regret it in a big way.
I can't do things like push-ups or anything else that puts weight on my wrists.

Same here with workout consistency. I had a lot of excuse when I used to workout at the gym...the drive is too long, I don't have enough time. I now do home workouts and it's great! Do you workout at the gym or from home?

Mine is definitely exercise. I don't always eat perfect but I do better with the eating than with the exercising!!
