at my gym Group Power and group kick are so popular. I'd check out Body Training Systems on the internet as they have lots of classes. I love Group core.

At my gym, the zumba classes are always packed, but also cardio kickboxing, cross training, soul spin, and a cardio build class... I would try different ones to see which I would like best!

Zumba remains popular in my area and has been for years.

Also senior fitness classes are very popular here, especially in the winter when we have many active winter visitors who are part-time residents.

Moving in new directions.

Great thanks! I have taught spinning and boot camp in the past and was considering getting a Zumba certification. Are there particular brands/names of the group spinning classes or is it just general indoor cycling? I'm wondering what certifications to get besides renewing my primary teaching cert.

Spinning and Zumba (land and aqua) are hugely popular at my gym. We offer drop in and registered spin classes. The drop ins usually fill but not always. As for the registered classes, which usually run from 5:30 AM to 6:15 AM fill up really fast. We also offer a variety of drop in and registered yoga classes.

One of my favorites is a boot camp class that I can't go to because of my work schedule. I miss it. A lot.

Well at my gym (urban, younger membership) the spinning classes are always fully booked and body pump is really popular too. Zumba classes are generally full and the cross fit/functional training type classes are gaining popularity as well.

After taking a break for a few years, I'm considering getting back into teaching group exercise classes.

What are the popular classes now? Thanks!!
