This summer, Sunday afternoons have been used to go hiking in a new area. In the fall, we usually go to a friend's house, so the guys can watch football. I think this year however, we might change it up a bit...I guess we'll see.

This summer my husband and I decided we're going to start doing the things we enjoyed doing when we first started dating. Every single Sunday this summer we've managed to get outside and do something. Most of the time it's hiking, but we've also done a lot of kayaking, long walks with our dogs, bike riding, etc. We had to take two Sundays off so far to do move and stack fire wood (Yuck!), but since we were still being active we figured it counted as "doing something".

this time of year, I love to sit on the deck and do nothing but relax.

lazing around! Maybe piddling in my garden, but nothing strenuous!

Spending quiet time reading the Sunday paper, and then whatever book I am currently reading. If the weather is right, I enjoy doing that outside. If I'm not reading, then I like to work on a craft project while watching tv or a movie. And I love getting into pajamas early on Sundays!

We go visiting after church those who are needing a visit. Such as those who are lonely, sick, or just need a hello..my DH and I enjoy this and it's what the Lord would want us to do. Not every Sunday is doing the above..other Sunday's are spent doing genealogy, etc. visiting with family, too
I would have to say a nice nap and especially when the temp is nice like it is now and you can just open the window and fall asleep with the breeze on you. It's very relaxing! Also being close to New York, an afternoon drive down to the City is sometimes a nice relaxing activity.
