So far it's the third or fourth instalment of this kind of advertising that I've seen them do in the last year or so. Every single time there is an outcry in the forums from people who don't appreciate it. But they keep doing it.
As was mentioned last time, your best bet is to contact the advertising company directly and let THEM know that they have lost a customer for life because of an invasive advertising technique they used on sparkpeople.com. This site is not going to remove advertising styles (if they work) simply because of a few complaints. But if they get their advertising companies complaining to them that they didn't appreciate losing customers, they may stop doing it.
I'm all for objecting to Spark and hoping they fix it, and I wish they would have and stopped doing this kind of advertising in the past. But they haven't, despite being fully aware of how angry it makes so many of their users. So at this point the only thing you can do is hit them where it hurts and try to affect their advertising dollars, rather than complaining directly to Spark.

The grape juice adding itself to my nutrition tracker, evidently whenever it wants to, is extremely annoying. The add actually laid itself on top of the nutrition scroll bar, making it extremely easy click by accident. Like I did. How do I get rid of it? I like this site, but please DO NOT EVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS AGAIN!

This grape juice is showing up in my "snacks" daily on my "nutrition tracker". Even looked at tomorrow to see if it would be there, and it was. Why is this happening and is there any way to stop it? Is it happening to anyone else?
