I just purchased the danskin weighted hoop and am trying to learn how to use it - I can only keep it up for three to five rotations right now, but am already feeling it in my core.

I got a weighted hula hoop from Amazon I think. I don't know what it weighs, but it is great. The only thing I don't like about it is that it makes my waist sore from the weights slinging against it, I presume. So, I wear thicker waisted pants, and that helps some. have fun!!

I plan on getting one myself. I went to www.sports-hoop.com and clicked on "Weighted Sports Hula Hoops". From there you can click on "Frequently Asked Questions". The information helped me out a little and I plan on getting the ACU Hoop. I'm just not sure if I should get the 3lb, 4lb, or 5lb one.

I've ordered one online, waiting on it being delivered.

Anyone else use one? What's your views on it?
