I looked up weight loss ticker on Facebook based on what you said and found one through LilySlim. I haven't explored how it all works yet, but am including it for others who might want to check it out.

I don't want to link my SP to my Facebook because I like the anonymity here...I can post more freely without thinking anyone I actually know is reading it. If you know what I mean.

I found a ticker thing on Facebook itself, but it looks like it's only visible if you invite your friends to watch it. I'm not that big at a "look at me! look at me!" thing.

I'll keep looking...

I have Sparkpeople and Facebook linked and set up so that when I enter a new weight, it tells Facebook how much I lost or gained - and I add a little note that says something like, "That's a total of 8 lbs lost!" or whatever.

I've also been discussing my weight on Facebook using the real weights, not just the amounts lost or that I want to lose.

For me, saying that I have over 100 pounds to lose is not as revealing as saying I started this weight loss effort at 248 pounds.

I'll subscribe to this post so if anyone comes up with a ticker that will work on Facebook, I can find out about it too!

For accountability. If everyone knows I'm losing weight....then that's one more incentive not to f*ck it all up and gain it back. Talk about embarrassment!!

And slightly for the bragging factor to. Hey, I've earned it! (well....I did...until I gained 7 pounds back)

I have some weight tickers on Tickerfactory.com but when I try to add them to my Facebook page, it never works.

Does anyone know of a good ticker site that works with Facebook?

I'd like to have my weight progress displayed on my Facebook page.
