I am glad to learn that you are seeing a doctor. Have you shared with this doctor that you are "crazy tired all the time"??? I still think this is the first and most important thing that needs addressing. This may hold the key to all your other weight loss issues.

This thread has been very informative. I am also stuck on a plateau of 170. I'm trying to get down to 155 (I'm 5-9) and am having a hard time too. It can be so elusive to find the cause of a slow metabolism.
My thyroid is in check but my regular doctor thinks I may have low serotonin levels. However I am not sure I want to take the drugs yet. I don't do drugs very well. You may ask your doctor about serotonin.
I saw an exercise physiologist who told me a lot of what OSSIE said (thank you OSSIE) and it did help release a few pounds, but I seem stuck with only a 5 pound loss in 2 months and I am really watching it and keeping up with my exercise. I do exercise 5-6 times a week that consists of 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of strength each session.
I saw a nutritionist and she told me to eat about 1400 calories a day and said I was doing great with SP. The only change she suggested was to give up my brie for low fat mozzarella and try to go for 25% of my calories from protein. She said keep up with the fiber which is sometimes a little hard while staying within the calorie range.
So, I won't give up, but I am finding that I share your same problem and hopefully we both will figure this out.

Thanks so much! I am currently seeing a Doctor and was diagnosed as insulin resistance and PCOS, and am on medicine right now to hopefully help both of those. My age is 24 and my height is 5'8 if you could give me some more info that would be great. Thanks again :)
Hi Kat - I ditto Becky's comment and would add to it. Ask for a referral to a Registered Dietitian to help you because then you will get expert nutritional advice as it pertains to you and your health.
I am most concerned about your statement of being "crazy tired all the time".
I would suggest a check up with your doctor as a starting point.

Are you sure that is the suggested calorie range for your weight? How is your sleep? What are you eating?
After a large loss like you have experienced, the body often takes some time to adjust before starting to lose again. I encourage you to stay focused on how far you've come; amazing!

Hi! So my weight loss has been slowing down to nadda since I started T25 three weeks ago, although I think it is a way harder workout then I did before (Jillian Michaels 30 day shred). I also started really watching what I ate when I started T25 and Im wondering if maybe Im eating too little and thats why it seems like no weight (or inches!!) is coming off? Im just confused because I had awesome results on the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred which was easy compared to what Im doing now, but now Im getting no results! I lost about 20 inches and 20lbs in the 30 day shred!! Trying to figure out what on earth Im doing wrong or if I need to do a different workout or such.
I've been eating 1300-1400 calories a day, Sparkpeople recommends 1300-1700 which is a huge range and Ive just been sticking to the lower end of it because I figured that was better. My macros are: Protein 70-100, Carbs 125-165 (I'm on low carb orders from my Dr) and Fat is 40-70ish. I've been sticking within these ranges, avoiding processed food, eating clea, but feeling crazy tired all of the time and seeing no weight loss. My BRM is 2700, my T25 workout each day averages 400 calories which means my average daily input is 1350 and my average output is 3100 which leaves me burning 1750 calories a day through workout and BRM. My weight is 427lbs. . If you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it Thanks!
