I also have low iron levels so I know what it is like. Are you taking iron supplements? Good on you for doing your weights in front of other people. The truth is that no one cares and every one is just so self centred in getting their own exercises done. Excellent. I loved reading your post. It was fun. Just keep on keeping on!

I'll admit the last few months have been tough. I was in a car accident that derailed me emotionally and I started to eat like...everything. Whenever I wanted. It wasn't pretty. My loose jeans became not so loose.

Not only that I was tireeedddd. Extremely tired. Like, sleep through alarm clock and seven calls tired. Wait-- that last bit didn't fit. So I went to the doctor and she told me that not only is my anemia out of control but I have a B-12 deficiency. Oh, and did I know that I had mono before? And that it will make other conditions that make me tired...wait for it...MORE TIRED?

So I managed to drag my butt out of bed today, into my gym clothes, telling myself that once I started my routine at the gym I'd feel better. More awake, less comatose. Okay, I also took my iron supplements and had green tea to perk me up. But I made it.

Now, I'm normally an at-night kind of work outer. If there are tons of other people, I will stick to my lonely little elliptical for 45 minutes then stretch and leave. Around 11 pm? I'll be throwing around a medicine ball, dragging mats over to the weights area for more options, and generally working my ass off.

Today, I broke the invisible man/daylight barrier that surrounds the weight area at my gym. I staked out an adjustable bench, grabbed two sets of dumbbells and a barbell and proceeded to work my ass off. And...NOBODY REACTED. Shocker. Everyone else was focusing on their thing.

I felt not-tired afterwards which, can I tell you, is a big deal. My life right now is fatigue and more fatigue. But today, back on the right track, I feel the urge to WooHoo so hard. So I am! Hope you all had an AMAZING hump day!
