I usually look at my tracker here, and take my WW calculator and work out the points I've eaten. Unfortunately, unless I actually took each item individually, it is less than accurate, because it also includes all the "free" items available on WW. But it does give me a rough idea of how I'm doing.
Additionally, I do try to stay within my calorie range for the day, based on SP guidelines, aiming for the first third, and occasionally going into the upper range - which, I guess, would be the equivalent of dipping into WW WP.
you can do the same thing with your ranges really. as long as you can average in your ranges, that's more important than day to day, providing you aren't eating 200 cals one day to make up for a 2400 cal day [they do average out to 1300 a day]. or you could look at it like this. your ranges are 350 cals wide. cut the top 100 cals off the range six days a week and that gives you 600 cals to play with on the seventh. so if your ranges were 1200-1550, that means staying in the 1200-1450 range six days and then having a spare 600 cals to play with on the seventh day. or you could bank up 50 cals or 150 every now and then. whatever works for you. again, just making sure that you aren't having extremely low days to balance out extremely high days.

I've recently switched from WW to calorie counting. I loved the flexibility of having my extra 49 weekly points to fall back on if need be. Has anyone switched from WW and found an equivalent amount of calories you fall back on?
