This is SOOOO true. Thank you for posting this. I have a very sluggish metabolism and when I started back up in April, it was July before I lost ANYTHING, but then I lost 10 lbs and then 12 lbs. I didn't make any major changes but rather just refused to give up.

Plateau's are quite possibly the most frustrating thing when it comes to weight loss. It has been a month since I started my weight loss journey and I have lost 9 pounds. I couldn't be happier, but I know it won't always be this easy to lose the weight. I remember after I lost about the first 50 pounds, the weight loss just stopped. For almost a month I didn't lose a single pound. It was the most aggravating feeling in the world. I tried exercising more, eating even better, nothing seemed to work. Finally at the end of the month the scale moved again. I was so relieved, but that month of nothing was disappointing. I was becoming so discouraged and didn't know what to do. To anyone experiencing this trust me I've been there, you just have to keep trying. Eventually the scale will move again. Don't give up and keep going. Keep working out, eating right, and on that day where you see things change again you will be so grateful that you didn't give up.
