Your body weight can fluctuate as much as 3-5 pounds in a day. Restrict your weigh-ins to once every two weeks. Keep an eye out for other improvements, such as more energy, clothes that fit better, etc.
One stumble does not a failure make.

What you experienced is perfectly normal. When you got back on the scale, the gain you saw was not because you gained a pound of fat after the workout. The gain was a result of the physical weight off the food and water you ate/drank. Food has weight. Water has weight and I can prove it.
Weigh yourself first thing in the morning after you've gone to the bathroom. Then drink 3-4 cups of water. Get back on the scale. Did you gain weight ? Yes ! Did you gain fat ? NO !Don't weigh yourself multiple times during the day. Because you will see the scale go up and down based on water fluctuations as well as going to the bathroom.
You have to understand that the weight doesn't magically drop off the minute we decide we need to lose. While a safe weekly weight loss would be 1-2 pounds per week, there will be weeks you don't lose. There will even be weeks you gain ! And that doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. You are not going to lose a pound a day.
Perhaps the reason you keep giving up is because you're asking way too much of yourself. Set some reasonable goal so that you don't overwhelm yourself. The fact is, you didn't gain the weight overnight, it's not coming off overnight. thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.
I give all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself was drink 8 glasses of water today, that's still a step in the right direction.
Take baby steps literally and figuratively. Don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated. No one ever became a healthy eater overnight. it's impossible.
I'm going to encourage you to try to stay away from the scale. Only weigh yourself once a week. There is more to good health than a number that stares at us from between our toes in the morning.

"Today is "day 1" for the final attempt." Why are you putting so much pressure on yourself? Nothing is over until you are in the grave. If you slip up or have a bad day or week, then what? You succeed when you keep getting up. You next meal or snack is your next opportunity to do better.

That's what I'm going to do is weigh in once a week, every monday morning. Sunday is going to be my rest day. I just did it out of curiousity and yes I drank tons of water during that hour.

I assume you drank water for the workout? If so, totally normal. Your scale could also have an error. If you changed clothes, you could weigh more.
I think weighing before and after a workout is not a good idea. Stick to once a week so you don't make yourself crazy!
You don't have to eat the whole thing.

Today is "day 1" for the final attempt. I was wondering if it's normal to weigh more after a work out than before. I got up aorund 5, weighed myself about 223-224. I did 1 hour of working out after having 1/2 cup of oatmeal as breakfast. I did the Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout xbox game. After I worked out, I'm feeling it but not over exhausted. However, I weighed 225.8 after...after 1 hour? I know our weight fluctuates but is this normal? I'll be sure to weigh in before exercise from now on nad I'm weighing once a week.
