I've never done it once/week, but I've done a 2-3 day "cleanse" with Shakeology where you drink 3 shakes/day and then eat a normal dinner. Usually I'll do one when I switch up workout programs, or I just completed one after the dreaded monthly bloat combined with family visiting and having sodium bloat.
I've had success doing it then, but I agree that towards the end of the day it DOES get challenging because all I want to do is eat real food lol

Has anyone of you ever tried having one day in the week when all you "eat" is green smoothies? I have been doing one smoothie day per week for 3 weeks now and it seems to work well for me. It gets tough towards the end of the day but I feel great and it seems to have helped me stay on track and triggered some weight loss again after a plateau. Has anyone of you done it? Any long term experiences?
