Plan to have quick, easy, convenient HEALTHY foods available for when you are running here and there. I am known for the snacks I carry in my purse, my car, my desk, my gym bag, etc. EVERYONE in the family and friends KNOW they can count of ME to have something to eat wherever we are. It is FUNNY how often the HEALTHY snacks that I have available suddenly become attractive to others when there isn't anything else handy.
Quick healthy meals at home are also fairly easy - my son does most of the cooking in our home and can prepare at least a dozen meals that take less than 30 minutes. Chicken breasts, pork chops, hamburgers, grilled cheese, soups, eggs, sandwiches, etc. can be cooked quickly on a grill. Some can even be cooked from their frozen state in that time. We try to have a selection of choices available that cook quickly. Take out and or delivery can get expensive even when it is just pizza, but you can fit them into a healthy eating plan just like you can do fast food, and restaurant foods - these may take a little more planning though.

During the week I'm at work & life is structured. Weekends are so hard for me because we are coming & going so much. It's hard to plan decent healthy meals or eat on any type of schedule. But I will keep trying...
