So on May 10th I had my first appointment with a trainer and I guess youíd call him a nutrition counselor. Talk about a massive major change in eating for me, which I knew I needed. I didnít realize how difficult it would be. There were times I thought I was going out of my mind. I donít think I was hungry, I think I was more focused on the things I wasnít supposed to eat rather than the things that I could. And some was just the drastic change in what I was eating and the frequency. Anyway Ö I struggled. I didnít stick to ďthe planĒ 100% by any means. He had me ďback off on the cardioĒ last week (as if I was doing a lot of it to start with?!?). So last week was solely the nutrition piece.
Last night was my first follow up meeting with him, and of course my first weigh in. I lost 6 pounds!!
Iím more prepared this week so Iím hoping to see results as good if not better for next week. Last week, it was two days before I even got to the grocery store and bought the things he wanted me to be eating, plus there was one day that I just couldnít take it and I wound up having two bags of chips and two bags of the mini Reeseís (the new little baby ones, not the bite size ones).
Iím pretty pleased with myself when I consider how big the changes were that I made and the fact that I didnít stick to it 100% or get started right off the bat. Itís motivating to think what results I can get when I put forth the full effort!!
