Hi,

Other than the hulahooping or spot-toning idea, you can look into some different options for under-the-dress attire. Some slimmers/shapers/smoothers really do wonders and can totally whittle out a waistline. I specifically picked a corset-top dress for this reason. If you don't mind wearing the extra layer, it's something you can try out!

You can't really spot lose, but with lots of cardio and strength training, you'll become more fit & toned. I have a weighted hula hoop that I use and not only do I really like hooping, but I think it does help to tone my midsection, even if I still would like to lose some more weight. You certainly have time to lose weight by next summer; if you know what weight you were when you tried on your dress to know where you need to be again. Good Luck! You Can Do It!!

Hi,
I am brand new to this site. I have been engaged for over a year now, and I actually bought my dress last September! It fit perfect... so I wasn't supposed gain any weight, but then with University comes stress, and with stress... well.. eating! I've tried weight watchers, because it worked in the past, but now they have a new program, and it wasn't working for me. So I have been frantically looking for something new, and I stumbled upon Sparkpeople.com. My wedding is June 10th 2012 in Mexico. Hoping to make friends and maybe get some tips on good exercises for my midsection!!
