I love feeling fit--I've gone from barely being able to run 60 seconds to being able to run 7+ miles.

Going clothes shopping is no longer depressing.

A vendor in our office yesterday commented, "Look how skinny you are." Appropriate? No, not really (though it was in a context that made it less creepy than it might sound). But kinda cool anyway? Yep. And even before I was really overweight, nobody would ever have said that to me.

So much is just *easier* now that I'm not carrying around the equivalent of my 9-year-old all the time!

I cannot imagine what it would be like to be at my ideal weight, but I envision someone who doesn't stop moving, always wanting to be around people and having a healthier outlook on life. I used to be these things but lost track for a while. I am on my way back and I can do this.

I am trying to get and stay motivated that my health and body will be much better after weight loss. I saw a thread on another site that had lots of good thoughts on this topic so please add your comments.
