My goal with water is to have 13 glasses per day-that's based on my size. When I do, I lose weight. To make that more doable, I start my morning off by chugging the first two cups. I get up, use the bathroom, weigh in, then chug the water. Then I just make sure the cup is always next to me wherever I am-desk, couch, table, kitchen, car.
It helps me to keep a tally going on a piece of paper, so I can look at it and see where I'm at during the day.
I knew someone who did the penny method, she kept a stack of 8 pennies on one side of her desk, and for each glass of water she drank, she would move a penny to the other side of her desk. When the stack on the left hand of her desk was gone, she knew she had drank enough.
I'm working from home right now, which is great because I pee like a racehorse with all this water, my last job I worked 12 hours a day on a line (cook).

I have a medical condition that is much easier to deal with if I am drinking plenty of water. I keep a water bottle on hand (24 ounces), fill it in the morning, and refill when needed. I may not get to 3 full bottles everyday, but I get at least 2-2 1/2. I drink when I am on the computer, have 8 ounces before a meal, and when I work out. Sometimes it is tough to remember to drink, but I keep trying--that's all I can do! Have a great day everyone!
