1 1/2 lb Ground Chuck
2 Tbsp. Butter
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
1/2 cup potatoes
3 Tbsp. Flour
2 Tsp. Granulated Garlic
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce (or less to taste)
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 Cups Milk
Salt and Pepper to taste
BROWN MEAT, ADD BUTTER AND STIR.
ADD ONIONS AND potatoes COOK TILL YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THEM.
ADD FLOUR, STIR AND COOK 2 TO 3 MINUTES.
ADD GARLIC, SOY SAUCE, WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE. MIX THOROUGHLY.
ADD MILK AND STIR TILL IT THICKENS.

Sh*t on a Shíngle is what my 1st (late) husband called it. I'm sure it probably has a more respectable name but I don't know what it is. Now how to make it, tho I loved it very much.
Here's what I do remember, it had ground beef Browned, mixed 2gether with hasbrowns, or some sort of potatoes and was all cooked together & at end a sort of gravy was made by adding flour & water/milk to mix. Then put over a piece of toast.
There were other ingredients but that's all I recall.
Would like to have this again. Any recipes that seem to fit this would be appreciated.
