I'm not sure if this varies depending on the individual, but I've been eating a lot of carrots lately and my nails have grown pretty hard. My hair has also grown thicker too. I'm assuming it's because of the biotin that is in orange foods. Some others that help contribute to this are yams, mangoes, spinach, cantaloupe, and pumpkin. I just thought that I would share :)
