Well it is official no body want to see me lose weight. My boyfriend trashed my treadmill now it will awhile before I can get on it again. he broke the power cord to it. I called the manufacture and they will send out a tech soon but I dont know how long it will take, I hate this because I had my schedule all made out for the week and now it will have to be redone.

My plan for Today was to walk this morning this afternoon and this evening. then do it all over again tomorrow but now i have to wait for I dont know how long. I cant even walk up and down the road because it is raining here and it will be raining all week so now i dont know what to do except do my zumba and weights.

I walk for 30 minutes every day. I work at a retirement center and we have a small track there. The residents are so encouraging. Right now the progress seems really slow, but I know I must stick to it to see the results I want. emoticon

You have set your mind to walking off the unwanted weight. There is no doubt that you will accomplish this. emoticon

I love my new treadmill and starting today i am going to write down how many steps i take and how many calories i burn. I want to be skinny again and I know that it will be hard work but I can do this. I have the support from all of you and my parents as well. So today is day 1 for me and i plan to make up a schedule and stick to it.

My heart is telling me that there is nothing that will ever stop me from reaching my goals. I am on a path that will lead me in the right direction. I will not stop until I see this weight come off. 229 lbs is alot of weight for me to be carrying and my BMI is over 40 so now I have to start eating right and exercising and walking to reach that goal that everyone has told me over the years will be hard to reach but I believe i can do this and I know without a doubt that I can do this no I will do this. I have to for a healthier me and a healthier future,

Most days I have been exercising in the house because it has been so hot. This morning I went for a walk, the weather was beautiful, and it felt real good.

Well I will be able to walk more now because I am the proud owner of a brand new treadmill. I will be setting it up tomorrow and using it everyday. I might even go down and set it up now so I can start in the morning after I eat breakfast. I cant wait until I get started on losing weight again. my weight is now 229 lbs which is 19 lbs gained back and that is not good for me. Wish me luck and as soon as I see the weight come off I will take pictures and post them on my page for everyone to see.

I am going try and go for a walk tomorrow because i have to try and strengthen the muscles in my legs again. all I see when I look in the mirror now is fat and I hate it. It discussed me when I see the way I look. I want the body back that I had 15 years ago. But I know that will take some much needed time to achieve and I am willing to go for it. I have started to track my miles again and this time I have added a new way of doing it. I downloaded the pedometer tracker onto my cell phone and it lets me know how far I go, how many steps I take and how many calories I burn. I plan to keep a log here at home after each time I walk. That way I can see the differences in the steps and how many I take each day.

Walk, walk, walk!!! I have literally walked my a$$ off over the last 9 months. Tonight my son is away on school trip..when I got home fom work my husband was enjoying a beer. It was so tempting to take the night off & just chillax since I didn't have to make dinner for ds (dh always fends for himself). But I know walking is what got me to goal weight. So I set out & was rewarded with some amazing blooming orchids in a neighbors yard & a mama duck teaching 9 babies to swim as a group on a pond. Walking is always better than not walking. You'll always be happy with yourself after your walk! Keep it up you're doing great!

Good for you for doing what you said you would. I have been using the Walk dvd's to get myself going (then it doesn't matter about the weather either). I really like them. Weather's been getting better so I can get out and walk in the sunshine. Plus my doggy likes when we get out too. I hope you are able to keep it up.

You are right, the biggest decision is to get started. Once you get started the rest as they say "is a piece of cake"

I went for my walk today and now i am feeling great. I made it out to the bridge and back. I plan to do that everyday and see how it goes but step on the scale at the end of the week. I took my dogs with me but never again because they are to hard to handle by myself.

I got in 4196 steps
192 calories burned off
1.92 miles
46.46 minutes
90 steps per minute

Now i am going to sit back and relax for now before supper

Sometimes the biggest obstacle is actually starting. I am definitely speaking from experience...it took me a while to get started with strength training (which I HATED with a passion) and now I can't imagine not doing it. Pretty soon you will have that 2 miles done and you'll want to keep going :)

I have been sitting on my butt all day and not trying to walk. But no more i am going to get out tomorrow and walk 2 miles if it kills me because i am on the 17 day diet now and walking is part of it so now I ahve to get my butt in gear and get busy walking no more excuses. I am going to get up in the morning and have my breakfast and then get out to start walking. I plan to take my cell phone because i have a pedometer installed on it so it wil track my steps and even my calories burned which is great.

M week has been slow but the rest of it will be better. I want this more hen anything and i will succeed where i have failed before.
