Walked today in a light drizzle love it much better than blaring sun any day. However a big down pour is not as enjoyable!!!!!

If I am just going to to get some exercise and return home - walking in the rain - yes!!! but if I have to go anywhere after - no! My hair is a frizzy mess in the rain! So, if it is raining during lunch hour, I will not be out there for my walk. It will wait until after work!

I like walking/running/playing soccer in a rain or downpour though I hate the process of getting wet. (Weird I know) Dry: good. Soaking wet: good. The place in between: bad. emoticon

I like walking in the rain, I find it romantic with a loved one. I will not walk through a heavy rain storm though, safety first. Light to moderate rain is all I will walk in.

glad you like walking in the rain....it can be fun.
but
making your kids walk in the rain when they don't like walking in the rain...I dunno...
I would rather encourage healthy exercise with something they like to do rather than something they don't.

Gasp --- you made your kids "walk"... in the rain?!? That borders on child abuse!

Don't you know that rain is not for "walking" in? Rain is for PLAYING in! Rain is for taking off your shoes and splashing each other in the puddles.... it's for running ahead and waiting ever-so-innocently by a tree branch so that you can dump the accumulated water down the neck of your unsuspecting Mom (or daughter)... it's for squatting down and checking under the bushes to see what critters might be hiding under the dripping leaves... it's for looking between the bars in the play-structure at the park to see the spider webs glistening with drops... it's for running across the grass and seeing what patterns you can make with the trails that you leave... it's for coming home for dry clothes and cocoa and giggles because Mom (or daughter) is still fake-grumbling at you for dumping water down her neck...

Sigh - I miss being able to "walk" in the rain...

I'd rather have sunny weather but I walk in the rain all the time.

I've had that happen, too. Way to keep going. I ended up running during a storm once, not by choice. It hit about 4 miles into a 10 mile run. So I got wet.

A light summer drizzle is fine - it is when it is pouring, windy and cold that I am not in love with it.

Today, it was downpouring rain...like tornado warnings horrible. So, I thought I wasn't going to be able to get my walk in today. But, lucky me, it cleared up right after supper. So, I forced my daughters to go on a walk with me (they are 7 and 8). Halfway through it started raining again...just sprinkling though. So, I got to walk in the rain today. I don't mind walking in the rain at all...and would have done it during the downpour...but my kids hated it.....whahahahaha
