Yes. She is the first dvd I used when I started exercising. I started going to Curves and did her dvds on the side for extra. I had a set of her walks, 1, 2 and 3. At first I only did the one milk because I wasn't used to working out. But I built up the the mile 3 and later found her mile 4 and 5. I still use her dvds actually. Right now I am working out in my hallway with my laptop and space is cramped. I can't do dvds with alot of moves that use too much space. I would be banging into the walls-not that I haven't bumped into the walls already. But the walking dvds don't take much space and are good for the hallway. I just listen to music while I walk to keep myself interested I also sometimes jog. If I song is really upbeat I will jog during it. Then maybe the next song will be slower and I will just walk until another fast song. So you can always change the intensity of it as you become fitter.

I am not a big fan for many of the reasons already stated. I want a workout video for beginners that will give me cardio, some ab work and a good stretch at the end. WATP fills the cardio, but I don't feel ike it does much else.
I wish I could find a dvd of The Beginners Workout. It was cheesy, but it did all of those things. The best part was that I felt like I got a workout at the end and was proud I finished the whole thing.

I love the walk away the pound videos! I have lost almost 70 pounds following her workouts. Try them on Youtube. There are a ton of them listed and you don't have to buy them if you don't want to. I have a few of my favorites but there are days when I need to do something different.

I do the 3 and 4 mile ones and they get my heart pumping. If I'm short on time, it's the 2 mile video. These are days when I just don't want to be jumping or kicking like crazy :)
You can also try Jessica Smith's videos that are on YouTube. She does walking ones, but they are a little bit more intense, which are awesome.

I have her 4 mile one, and while I like the walking, I am driven crazy by her voice. I mute her and make the video small and in the corner of my screen, and then I open up a movie and watch that while I walk, checking in with Leslie to make sure that I am keeping up the pace.
I only do the video every couple of weeks, if it is raining, or too late to walk outside.

We've been snowed in for the past few days and so I have been using Leslie Sansone 3 mile walk video and it does the trick, gets my heart rate up and I work up a sweat. For me her videos get a little tedious and I also feel I need to do work with some weights to gain full benefit of a decent workout. I notice that Leslie and others (Jillian Michaels) talk waaaay too much for my liking so I often just watch them and put on my own music. I am spoiled because I attend a great 75 minute cardio/strength at my local gym and the instructor really varies the workout and uses fabulous music. All that aside, I think Leslie Sansone is great for anyone just starting out and since she has workouts for 1,2,3 and 5 miles you can easily work your up and gauge your progress.

I've just begun Walk Away the Pounds; so far I've completed 4 days of the 1 mile walk. Are there anyone else here that use this video? If so, how do you like it and what results have you seen.
