Hi and welcome!!

I like to suggest to new members to just focus on 2-3 things that the site suggests at 1st so that you can get familiar and so it becomes 2nd nature. As you get the hang of it add something new in and work on that next. Before you know it you're mastering the site and seeing the results you're aiming for without feeling too overwhelmed.

I also like to share my fav saying with everyone too...It's not about being perfect, it's about being better than you were yesterday =] Life is always happening around you and you'll always be faced with challenges. Don't let the tough days break you, instead compare the new you with the old you on those days. Even though you feel like you had a bad day, you'll still see the success you had compared to the last time you were faced with that temptation. By turning it into a positive you help yourself back on track before too much damage can be done!! At least those are some of my keys to success =]

Welcome to sparks - so glad you have found us

Participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined - that is where you will get a lot of encouragement

I understand how overwhelming the site can seem when you first start up but taking it slowly is really the way to go. You have found and are successful with the nutrition tracker which is good.

As for where to post I would suggest starting with the groups you joined

I have spent hours in the past few days trying to figure out things on SP, where to go to do what...and I must say it's all a little overwhelming! I had a few people who added me as a friend and I couldn't figure out why they weren't on my sparkfriends list....then I researched it and found out you have to add them too...and still trying to figure out where to post what...the difference between message boards, challenge boards, sparkteam boards....lol....just seems like things could be more simple or am I just overlooking something? Maybe I am just trying to do too much at one time.....the tracking is the only thing I have 100% figured out. Wow...I can understand why people suggested taking an entire week to "get to know" this website....I am learning something new every time I come on....and it's almost becoming an addiction, which could be a good thing?! =)
